Your information
Privacy policy
This policy explains how AJ Painting and Renovations (ABN 32 184 644 647) handles information received through this website and during customer enquiries.
Last updated 24 August 2026
Information we may collect
Depending on how you contact us, we may collect:
- your name, phone number and email address;
- your suburb or postcode and general project location;
- the service, property type, timing and indicative budget you select;
- messages, photographs and documents you choose to send; and
- basic device, browser, security and website-usage information.
Please do not send sensitive personal information or documents that are not needed to assess your enquiry.
How information is collected
We usually collect information directly from you when you use a website form, call, text, email, send project media or deal with us during a quote or project. Technical and security information may also be collected automatically by the website and its service providers.
If you arrive through a campaign or referring website, local or session browser storage can retain first- and last-touch details such as the landing path, referring website, campaign parameters, advertising click identifiers and the entry link used. These details may be included with an enquiry to help us understand how customers found the website.
Why we use it
We may use the information to:
- respond to your enquiry and assess whether a project is suitable;
- prepare, discuss and manage quotes and renovation services;
- keep business, safety and customer-service records;
- protect the forms and website from spam, fraud or misuse;
- maintain and improve the website; and
- send occasional marketing only where you have chosen to receive it.
You can withdraw from optional marketing at any time by replying to the message or contacting us using the details below.
Service providers and overseas processing
We may use service providers for website hosting, form security, lead storage, file storage, email delivery and optional analytics. Current website providers include Cloudflare for hosting and Turnstile form security, Supabase for enquiry and file storage, Resend for transactional email delivery and, only when configured, Google Analytics.
Those providers may store or process information outside Australia. Their processing locations and subcontractors can change, so their own privacy terms should also be reviewed. We do not sell the personal information submitted through our enquiry forms.
Analytics and website data
The website can use optional Google Analytics measurement to understand page and button usage. It is loaded only when the site owner configures a measurement ID. We do not intentionally send names, phone numbers, email addresses, street addresses, attachments or free-text form content in analytics events. Analytics and security providers may still receive technical identifiers such as an IP address, browser information or a device identifier under their own terms.
The campaign and referral details kept in browser storage are limited to allow-listed attribution fields. They do not intentionally contain your name, phone number, email address, enquiry message or attachment contents. You can remove browser-stored data using your browser settings.
Storage, security and retention
We take reasonable steps to restrict access to enquiry information and use protected form-processing and storage services. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, business records, dispute handling or legal obligations, then deleted or de-identified where practical.
Access, correction and privacy concerns
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or raise a privacy concern by using the email link or calling 0405 433 353. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request and will respond within a reasonable time.
If a concern is not resolved, information about privacy rights and complaints is available from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
External links and policy changes
Other websites linked from this site have their own privacy practices. We may update this policy when the website, providers or business practices change. The current version and update date will remain available on this page.
